Is It True? Drake’s Six-Pack Abs is Rumored to be Fake

Being a celebrity also means great responsibility. As a public figure, they are expected to be role models who are responsible for their actions and apparently, with their looks too.

That is why most of the famed personalities take diet and exercise seriously. They follow a strict diet, regularly go to the gym, and even hire a professional health and fitness coach. We cannot blame them for falling into peer pressure, though. After all, their outside appearance is one of the sources of their income.

Pursuing a disciplinary diet and working out is not that easy. It takes time, effort, and a lot of motivation. And someone bashing the result of your hard work is not motivating at all. That is the Canadian rapper Drake broke his silence after years of allegation about his six-pack abs.

Are the Abs Real?

The accusations about Drake getting liposuction in order to achieve rocky stomach started in 2016 when the former rapper Joe Budden mocked Drake’s abs in his diss track Afraid. Drake tried to ignore the mocking as much as possible and proved him wrong by documenting his gym life every once in a while on social media.

Just recently, Drake posted a shirtless photo on Instagram showing off his perfectly toned abdominal muscles. A lot of his fans showed their love and appreciation with kind comments commending his body. But of course, not everyone dropped a nice comment on it.

The Guatemalan record producer DJ Carnage put fuel on the flame by joking around about the old allegations that Drake had plastic surgery. The said comment gained over 27,000 likes and had people wondering if Drake really had an ab surgery. Although, the two artists made it clear that they are in good terms and just fooling around.

Rappers Drake and Dj Carnageare good friends and even spent Easter Sunday together.

Ab Surgery is a Thing!

Now, whether Drake had surgery or burned calories in the gym is not the biggest question people have. A lot are unaware that there is such a thing as ab surgery.

Ronnie Ortiz-Margo is one of the first people to have ab surgery.

Luckily, Ronnie Ortiz-Margo is there to answer the question. The American television personality admitted that he doesn’t have much time to spend in the gym anymore after having a daughter. Ortiz-Margo didn’t want his years of effort to simply go to waste, so he decided to undergo liposuction to preserve his gym body.

Dr. Christopher Khorsandi was the one who performed the abdominal etching. He explained that the procedure is going to be permanent so long as Ortiz-Margo maintains a healthy lifestyle. The operation lasts up to four hours and 30 minutes, but it doesn’t end there. The recovery is said to be painful too. Not to mention the cost is a pain-in-the-pocket as well.

Anyway, whether people get their six-packs with sit-ups or with the help of a surgeon, it doesn’t really matter. After all, it is their body, their choice.
