Tina Louise In Character On Gilligan’s Island
Tina Louise had her big break from the 1958 movie God’s Little Acre, for which she earned a Golden Globe. Later, she went on to star in the sitcom Gilligan’s Island as Ginger Grant, a role that remained in the hearts and minds of many for a long time.
As of today, Louise is one of the last two actresses alive from the cast of the show (Dawn Wells being the other). At 85 years of age, she is living in retirement, appearing on screens as little as possible. Louise also had a career in music in the ’50s, during which she released an album named It’s Time for Tina.
