Spilling the Tea

In September 2019, Bette Midler and husband Martin von Haselberg listed their NYC penthouse for $50 million. Needless to say, with such a hefty price tag, it would be some time before a buyer would be found to seal the deal. Luckily, after two long and uncertain years, the penthouse has finally fallen into the hands of a new owner. Plus, the final closing price hasn’t been disclosed either.

Inside the Penthouse

Sitting within an Emery Roth–designed Fifth Avenue building, the penthouse spanned three floors and was made out of two apartment units. Taking up a massive 7000-square-feet of space, it contains 14 bedrooms and a spacious gallery accessed through an en-suite lift.

Moreover the master bedroom, moreover, features large windows to let in maximum natural light and offer optimal views, a wood-burning fireplace, and a study. The floor also holds a sizeable family and laundry room, as well as three additional bedrooms.
