Stephen Colbert – $15 Million
This list would not be complete without Stephen Colbert, who has been in the television scene for many decades. He is known for his comedic and hosting skills, highlighted during his nine-year run on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report.
Starting in 2015, Colbert has hosted The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS, the contract for which was renewed in 2019, putting his annual salary at $15 million. The 56-year-old is also an author with multiple published works under his name and an actor and voice actor. Colbert currently has ongoing work in Our Cartoon President and Tooning Out the News.
