Matt Lauer – $25 Million
Matt Lauer had a great television career and was undoubtedly among the highest-paid news anchors in America. Unfortunately, his wrong actions opened the path for him to be fired from NBC News, where he was working at the time. According to Variety, Lauer lost an annual salary of $25 million after being fired from the network.
It’s a shame that the reputation that Lauer had built for decades came crashing down after he was accused of indecent assault at the workplace. His second marriage, too, shattered following the incident. Actions have consequences is all we can say.
