Michel Sardou tried his luck as an actor in the 1990s, and landed his first role in a play directed by Neil Simon. However, he did not forget music and met with modest success with “According to which you will see”, “Salut” and “Français”.
The last album of his musical career was released in October 2017 under the title “The Fool’s Choice”. The latter ranked at the top of sales only a week after its release in addition to selling nearly 200,000 copies three months later. He also held his last concert on March 24, 2018.
