Martin Luther King Jr.’s Courage
How would you feel if you look over your shoulder for the most part of your life? Not the best, we presume. Martin Luther King Jr. received multiple death threats during the course of his life for being a civil rights leader, and yet he never lived in fear.
The picture above is proof that he was a brave and courageous man. When a cross burned on the front lawn of his home, he calmly stepped out to remove it with his little son standing beside him. Sadly, in 1968, at age 39, Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed, but his legacy will carry on.
